How To Awaken Psychic Abilities

Do you think you may be developing your own psychic abilities? We all have them to a lesser or greater degree, because the study of quantum physics has shown that we are all connected in the universe. Proofs even exist in the form of photographs.

Capabilities within Us

We all are capable of accessing information and knowledge from different dimensions in the Universe. It’s just a matter of being able to see things clearly. Having the theoretical knowledge, does not necessarily mean, that one possesses these qualities.

To myself and thousands of others, we have known and believed in demon possession for a long time from another source, the Holy Bible. The Bible written in sections or books, some more than a couple thousand years ago, tells us all we need to know about demon possession and that it is a very real condition.

In this day and age, when you mention demons or demon possession, most folks laugh or joke about it. Do these same folks laugh and joke about the Holy Bible ? To laugh and joke about the belief of demons and demon possession, is the same as laughing and joking about the Holy Bible and the word of God. If you are a true Christian and you believe in the Holy Bible as being the divinely inspired word of God, then you should have no doubts about the existence of demons and demon possession.

What are demons ? Demons are supernatural beings with great power and knowledge, their knowledge comes from not just their high intelligence, but the fact that they have been alive since before the earth was created. They are often called or known as ‘ fallen angels ‘, in fact that is exactly what they are. When Satan rebelled against God, he along with his followers, (1/3 rd of the angels of heaven), were cast out of the Third Heaven, where God’s throne and the actual city or place called Heaven currently exists. These ex-angels, now called ‘ demons ‘, were banished forever from the 3rd heaven where they once worshipped God and his son Jesus. Now for thousands of years, they have been condemned to live in what is called heavens 1 and 2, this area encompasses the planet earth, the sky above it, the stars, planets and the solar systems beyond it.

Demons are usually invisible in their natural state to the human eye, but they can take on any solid form they wish, and then we can see them. Demons can appear as wips of what looks like smoke, lasting only a few seconds, or at other times they look like fleeting shadows, often seen out of the corners of the eyes. They can take on any shape they choose, even an animal, they can appear solid or transparent and ghost-like.

What does the Bible tell us about demons and some of their abilities?

1. Demons seem to desire a body to possess or use as a host, like a parasite. It could be that when they were cast down from Heaven that they were changed into another form, or they just have a strong desire to control and cause as much trouble to humans as they possibly can. In ‘ Mark 5:12 ‘, when Jesus was exorcising demons from a possessed man, the demons spoke to Jesus and begged him, saying: ‘ Send us among the herd of pigs; allow us to go into them ‘.
2. Demons have great strength. In ‘ Luke 8:29 ‘, a man was possessed by demons, and while possessed he was able to break chains easily, the demons also made the man want to dwell among graves and lonely places.
3. The demons are responsible for many of the diseases and illnesses that people have. In ‘ Luke 11:14 ‘, a man that had been mute and unable to speak, became able to speak normally when Jesus removed a demon from him.

What are some causes of demon possession? Sin. Yes, sin is the cause or thing that leads to someone being controlled and ultimately possessed by demonic forces:

1. Abuse – Some folks claim they were abused as children, and this has brought them under the control of demons.
2. Occult Activity – Reading and trying spells and other things in occult books.
3. Spirit communication – Using an ouija board, channeling, or automatic writing, is an open door to demon possession.
4. Astrology and Fortune Telling – Using ones horoscope or visiting a fortune teller to know the future is wrong according to the bible, clearly a warning that demonic forces are involved with it.
5. Music and Movies – Movies and music can be fun and inspirational, but most of the movies today are very sinful. Today’s movies are full of such sinful things as sexual encounters that are out of marriage or with the same sex, cussing or using Jesus’s name in vain, and there are numerous movies these days that show or try to let us think that dabbling with spells, sorcery and witchcraft are ok, when the Bible clearly says that any witchcraft or sorcery is wrong and can open the door to demon forces.
6. Sexual perversions – Pornography is very addictive and often leads to more and more perverted sexual desires, such as same sex encounters and sex with animals which is growing more and more in today’s perverted world, all of which is evil and wrong according to the Bible and Jesus. Demons can use these filthy and perverted desires to weaken our wills and mental states, until we allow them to enter us, and possess us.

There are many other activities and things that can ultimately lead to someone becoming possessed and controlled by demon forces, but the main cause is sin.

There are a lot of folks that say demon possession is just symptoms of either a mental illness or some other medical condition, or sickness. This can be true at times when the person does have a medical problem, but in a true case of demon possession, there will be signs or activity that NO sickness or disease can manifest, such as:

1. Knowledge of future events and hidden things – Demon possessed people have been known to gain a sudden knowledge about things that was never shared with others, or to even reveal future events that come true.
2. Superhuman strength – Possessed individuals have been known to break ropes, chains and other restraints with ease, and it often takes up to 4 full grown men to hold a demon possessed child down.
3. Speaking in unknown or strange languages – Demon possessed individuals who have no prior knowledge of foreign languages have been known to start taking fluently in strange languages or foreign tongues, such as Aramaic, Latin and other languages.
4. Levitation and Psychic Powers – Demon possessed individuals have been known to levitate and hover in the air in front of other witnesses, or cause objects in the room to move by themselves.
5. Smells – Often in the presence of a demon possessed individual the surrounding air will become so horribly smelling that folks will get sick, the smell has been described as the smell of cancer or death, or even sulphur.
5. Reaction to Holy relics or sacred items – Demon possessed individuals have been known to fear or even react violently to crosses, bible reading, holy water or other sacred relics and symbols. In one case of demon possession in Pennsylvania in the early 1980s a young man, who was possessed had his head covered with a sack, so he could not see. He held his hands behind his back and a few different items were placed in his hands, when a cross was dropped into his hand, it burned his skin and became hot to others that touched it.

The best way to avoid demon activity and possession in your life is to avoid sin as much as possible. Read your bible as often as you can, go to a nice bible believing church, and most importantly, accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior, repent of your sins, and try not to sin like you did before your conversion.

Gemstones and crystals have had a long association with mankind. For centuries, man has used crystals and gemstones to create happiness and healing within his life. These crystals are said to synthesize the energy of the sun into healing energy.

There are a variety of healing gemstones and crystals available in the market. All of these stones possess qualities which can be desired by any or all of us. So which gemstone or crystal is just right for us? The answer is not so simple. Go with what you feel. Hold the stone in your hand and let go of all emotions. Probably only one or two emotions will refuse to go away. For you, the stone will represent those emotions. If that is a happy emotion, go with it. Otherwise the stone is not for you. These crystals and gemstones contain many healing properties. They are made out of minerals which have come together under the surface of the earth. This gives them their unique colors and qualities. There are several methods of using the crystals for healing purposes. Some of them are outlined below.

One of the most common methods of using healing crystals is by placing them on the affected parts of the body. These can be your seven chakras, or just a particular body part. The therapist will use stones that are suited for your body type, and depending on the chakras that are needed to be activated or unblocked.

Another very common method is wearing the crystal. If long term healing or benefit is desired from a particular crystal, then most people prefer to wear the gemstone in a pendant or in a ring.

Another method of healing with crystals is making elixirs from them. This is a fairly simple procedure where you place your chosen crystal in glass bowl of pure spring water and leave it in the sunlight for 12 hours. This water can then be bottled (preferably in a dark glass bottle with an air tight stopper) and can be used for a week. If you want to use the water for a longer time period, you can add 50 percent brandy into it. This elixir can be drunk or added to your bath or used as a spray. However, please study the minerals in a particular crystal before drinking its elixir. Some gemstones and crystals might not be suitable for making elixirs. Either the crystal might be water-soluble or poisonous.

A useful method of healing with crystals is putting the crystal in your bath water. You can also add to the healing environment by burning incense or scented candles and bathe in this relaxing environment. This can be quite a rejuvenating experience.

It has been mentioned before that all crystals have healing properties. You have to find one that suits you the best. You can do that by keeping the crystal with you for a few days and observing the effect. If it does nothing for you, you can ignore it. If it creates a bad feeling, discard it. If you feel good with it, and you notice benefits, then hang on to it.

Cleansing the crystals is also equally important. You can place them in the sunlight or the moonlight for 12 hours after washing them thoroughly under running water. Take care, that water soluble crystals will dissolve by frequent washing.

Over 2000 years ago the Man Christians call Jesus Christ seemed to have powers

The Man Who Made a Difference.

Christians Call their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, changed the course of history.  Most historians nolonger question the existence of the man called Jesus.  They do, however, question is devine claim.  This man Jesus was known to do miracles.  His power was recognized in greating more bread and fish from a few.  He was known to heal the sick.  The people at the time of Jesus was amazed at what he did.   But not as amazed as our society would be.  You see, they lived in a time in which they believed that there was power all around them.  They believed that people could see in the furture or have devine messages.  They were amazed at what this Jesus did but not as nearly as what we would be.  

We have lost in our society the power to believe.  Science is only beginning to understand the power of belief.    New discoveries are showing that consciousness affects everything from the cells of our bodies to the atoms of our world.  Interestingly, it has also become the place where science, faith and even spirituality seems to be finding common ground.  Gregg Braden tells a story in his book, The Spontaneous Healing of Belief, "…two doctors are discussing a successful and mysteries healing that has occurred in one of their patients.  It’s successful because the patients’s anomalous tissue growths on her legs have suddenly disappeared.  She was a part of a double-blind experiement where she and other patients with similiar conditions were ramdomly selected and informed that a brand-new breakthough treatment would be applied.  Some received the real medicine, and some were simply given the colored water.  All patients were told that by the time the treatment wore off, their condition would be healed.  In the case of the doctors’ patient, the dye disappeared in 24 hours.  When it it did, her condition vanished as well…she was healed."

We know there is power in belief.  The people at the time of Jesus Christ believed power was all around them, but did not know how to obtain it.  When they were really surprised is when His followers were in boat and a storm arises and Jesus said, to the sea, Hush, be still.  And the wind died down and it because calm.  And the disciples said, "who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him." They could accept the fact that there is healing, but power over nature, that was to much.

Did You Say You Read Palms?

Dispelling the myths:

Well a big passion of mine is traveling and swapping countries…but I’m not here to talk about that!

Palm reading is my thing and certainly one of those subjects, like politics and religion that evokes strong opinions, usually for or against.
It surprises me that in this day and age and in this atmosphere of information sharing there are still so many gray areas surrounding the science?

Without letting the cat out the bag essentially a very large part of palm reading is highlighting characteristics and personal traits which are mostly already known to the individual. Whether we like it or not our thoughts and deeds are reflected in our hands (and feet) and arts like Palmistry and Reflexology take advantage of this fact. The impact of this surprise is magnified when we hear our personalities dissected and summarized by a total stranger!

Something that concerns me though (time to be serious) in the 12 years that I have been practicing palmistry I have heard some disheartening stories that do the trade an injustice.
As with any profession a lot of bad press can be generated by some unscrupulous practitioners who promise more than they can deliver or worse…and certainly palmistry is not exempt!

So, in trying to help those that have a genuine interest in the art and hopefully weed out those practitioners that give the science a bad name I have compiled a short ‘when to run’ list.

Start running if:

1)The palmist says curses have been placed on yourself and/or your loved ones (and of course only they can remove said curse.)

2)The palmist, psychic, fortune teller, tarot reader etc. says they have the solution to all of your problems (while they’re at it let them lower the petrol prices.)

3)The palmist requires a conspicuously large sum of money; usually following statements made in points 1 and 2.

Palm reading is supposed to help, it should enlighten us and leave us with new options. Through discovering and mostly re-discovering our characters we can work on our weaknesses and take advantage of our strengths by considering them in our life choices – if we are not already doing so.

Remember, nothing is set in stone, we are usually faithful to our main character traits which determine our behavior BUT we are also creative beings who have the ability to change how we think and therefore what we don’t like.

Can Hand Analysis Predict The Future?

The practice of using palm reading to predict the future dates back thousands of years, and continues to be very popular today. Yet one of the most common questions that many people still have about it is: "Can palmistry really predict the future?" The answer to this is a definite "No".

The reason that the hands cannot be used to make accurate predictions is because the palmar lines and other characteristics do change somewhat over time. Only the dermatoglyphics (fingerprints) remain the same. (You can verify this by making a photocopy of your palms each year.) What this means is that any predictions made based on the hands would change along with the normal changes in the lines. Perhaps palmistry can predict a future or the probable future, but certainly not THE future.

Many people will continue to argue against this point, claiming anecdotal evidence that proves the accuracy of palmistry predictions. An examination of these claims, however, usually reveals them to be nothing more than the results of random chance, the Forer Effect and Subjective Validation.

If palmistry cannot accurately predict the future, then what about reading the personality, the soul’s purpose, or past lives? P. T. Barnum once said "There’s a sucker born every minute", and traditional palm reading is a great example of this. Take a group of 10 or so normal middle-aged adults and give each one this same identical reading in private: "Your marriage or romantic life has been rather difficult at times, and occasionally you now feel quite isolated. You have 3 children. You don’t get to spend as much time with your children as you’d like to, which is one of your biggest concerns. The other big concern you have is to do with money, how to earn more and how to save more." Make each statement with complete confidence and without hesitation.

Give this exact reading to 10 different people in private, and here are the likely results:

1. Five people will be neutral, because most of the reading was too vague, and they do not have 3 children. On the other hand, they feel that perhaps they have been given some things to think about. A healthy scepticism keeps them from making too much out of this.
2. Two people will be somewhat impressed, because the reading really seems to apply to them. They have between 2-4 children, so it appears fairly accurate, but not as exact as they would have liked.
3. One person will disregard the reading as being quite inaccurate, and will pay little thought or attention to it afterwards.
4. One person will be very unimpressed, and will treat the reading as sheer foolishness.
5. One person will be absolutely amazed by the accuracy and specific importance of their information.

Based on these reactions, you can easily understand how palm readings can stay so popular. The first 5 people have a neutral reaction, so they discuss their reading with friends until another topic of interest comes along. The next 2 people are impressed enough to start believing that "maybe this actually works", even though their reading could have been better. One person disregards palmistry, and another treats it as naive foolishness — Neither one of these two ever talk much about it afterwards. The last person, however, is so impressed that they become an advocate and continue telling others about the accuracy. This last person is the only one out of the group who keeps talking about their reading years later.

So what is palmistry good for? The hands can accurately reveal a wealth of information about our present lives, including health problems and damaging lifestyle choices. The dermatoglyphics can almost certainly be used to identify genetic defects and predisposition to many diseases. There are countless good uses for hand analysis, but unfortunately too many people still want to pay good money for cheap fortune-telling. When it comes to palm reading, educate the public and you’ll elevate the art — Until that happens, not much will change.

If you are looking to have a psychic reading done it is very important that you go to a good reader. Unfortunately, just as in any industry, there are people who say that they can do something and all they are doing is ripping you off. Finally it is important for you to understand that a psychic is not going to be able to tell you what you had on two days ago or what you ate for lunch.

Psychic readings have to deal with energy and feelings. If the psychic is going to use Tarot cards it is important that you are there to cut the deck. It’s hard to do a palm reading if you can’t see a person’s hand. When a psychic consults an oracle, whether it is the crystal ball, runes, tarot or scrying mirror having a connection with the person you are doing the reading for is important, which is why being there in person is ideal.

What you need to be looking for when you sit down with a psychic is that they are going to help you see the greater picture, or the forest or the bird cage and not just the wire. Basically what this means is they are going to be able to show you the big picture to help guide you through your current situation, so that you can take the next step in your personal development.
A good psychic is going to provide you with answers, not have you leave with questions.

Finally, the most important piece of advice when you are looking for a good psychic, a good psychic is not going to ask you questions about your life such as;
"Is there a male figure in your life whose name starts with M," or
"Are you going through a difficult time in your life right now?"
If they ask you this, get up and walk out.
We don’t need to know those things in order to help you.
